Debut of the City Edition uniforms
The Utah Jazz played their very first game in their City Edition uniforms against the Golden State Warriors on January 30th of 2018. The Jazz beat the reigning champs by a whopping 30 points on that night.
They held Golden State to 99 points, and all of their All-Stars struggled aside from Klay Thompson. Kevin Durant shot 5-13 from the field for 17 points and not much else. Stephen Curry shot 4-13 from the field and 1-7 from three. Draymond Green was 3-11 from the field and had 4 turnovers.
On the Jazz side of things, Ricky Rubio outplayed Stephen Curry and led the way for Utah. He double-doubled with 23 points and 11 assists and was a +31 in his 35 minutes. Joe Ingles and Donovan Mitchell each added 20 points, with Derrick Favors double-doubling with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
This was a big game for the Jazz, as they entered that night with a 21-28 record. They ended up knocking off 8 more consecutive wins after that game, with 3 wins prior to it, totaling an 11-game win-streak during what was a memorable Utah Jazz season.
