Quin Snyder – Yoda

It only seems fitting to kick this off with the mastermind behind Utah’s success – the one and only Quin Snyder. His incredible foresight and ability to adapt and find success despite numerous injuries as well as the loss of a trusted ally to the Dark Side of the Force (more on this later) makes him perfectly fitting as the head of the Jedi Council.

Much like foolish Sith and other foes tend to overlook Yoda because of his small stature, Quin was absolutely overlooked last year as a Coach of the Year finalist despite the fact that he led one of the most injury-riddled teams in the league to the fifth seed in the West and the second round of the playoffs.

But, Count Doc-o Rivers found out the hard way that Quin wasn’t one to be trifled with. Sure, Emper-Kerr Palpatine eventually got the best of Quin, much like the Emperor himself in Episode III did of Yoda, but Quin’s still up and kicking, preparing the next New Hope to one day overthrow him and the rest of the Golden State Empire.

If you were looking for further proof that this is the perfect comparison for Quin, just check out his and Yoda’s angry faces:

Yes, in his unmatchable insight, incredible leadership capabilities and his intensity on the battlefield, Quin Snyder is the Utah Jazz’s Jedi Master Yoda.
