With Utah Jazz Star Wars night and the release of Episode VIII quickly approaching, what better way to celebrate than to assign each Jazzman their own comparable Star Wars character?

In honor of Utah Jazz Star Wars night that will be taking place on Friday night when the Jazz host the New Orleans Pelicans and in preparation for Star Wars Episode VIII that will be coming out in just over two weeks (!), I thought it would be fun to have a little Star Wars and Utah Jazz connected fun.

After all, as of this writing, Utah has now won three straight games and four out of their last five in commanding fashion so it’s no stretch at all to say that the force is indeed with them. With that being the case, I’ve taken the liberty of running through the Jazz roster and assigning each player a comparable Star Wars character.

Of course, the term comparable is used pretty loosely here as some of these are a stretch and none of these should be taken any other way besides hilariously, ridiculously, fun.

So without further ado, go ahead and lock your S-foils in attack position, strap in and enjoy seeing where your favorite Jazzmen would fit in a galaxy far, far away.
