1) Memphis Grizzlies (5-1)
Last month: 10
Without a doubt, the Memphis Grizzlies have been the best story in the NBA this season. Despite some lukewarm projections on their team in 2017-18, it would seem that Grit n’ Grind lives in Memphis.
Their defense continues to be top-five league-wide and regardless of his age, Marc Gasol is still plugging away. Through six games, he’s averaging 21.8 points, 10.2 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game.
5-1 should really be six and none right now, and the Grizz don’t really show signs of slowing down.
