The Utah Jazz have gone full youth movement in Salt Lake City this winter. They traded several players in Kelly Olynyk, Ochai Agbaji, and Simone Fontecchio to land some draft picks for this upcoming summer, and to also clear up playing time for several young players.

Since the trade deadline, the biggest benefactors of playing time so far have been Taylor Hendricks and Talen Horton-Tucker. Hendricks is very much in the long-term plans for the franchise, with Horton-Tucker very much not. Another pair of major winners since the trade deadline has been Walker Kessler and Keyonte George who have both entered the starting lineup recently.

The squad also has rookie Brice Sensabaugh but he's hardly played this season, and did have Ochai Agbaji, who they dealt to get a first-round pick for 2024. With so much potential, it's easy to see that the team has a potentially bright future, but among the prospects on the team, who has the highest upside?

The Jazz Lead posted out this question, putting George, Sensabaugh, Hendricks, Kessler, and Collin Sexton in the conversation. A conversation we don't think Sexton should be in, not if Lauri Markkanen isn't. Markkanen is just 26 and has emerged as a true All-Star caliber player. Sexton is already 25, far closer to Markkanen's age than he is Hendricks or George.

We don't think it's fair to put Sexton in that group of youngsters, but we think Sexton has oodles of potential.

That said, of the four rookies and second-year players, we think that it's a tie between George and Kessler. The two men are both highlights for different reasons and their growth and development will be part of the reason the Jazz return to success. We haven't seen enough from Sensabaugh to really judge his potential and when it comes to Hendricks, let's just say there's a lot to be desired.
