#5 PG Kris Dunn
It's hard to argue that Kris Dunn isn't the best all-around point guard the team has. He may not be the best shooter, he was just 13th on the team in true shooting percentages, but he was stellar everywhere else. He was just shy of four assists per game and only had 1.2 turnovers per game. He's effective at finding his teammates and not turning the ball over. Yet, he wasn't played nearly as much as he should've been.
Defensively was where he showed his value. He only scored 5.6 points per game this past season but he was the best wing defender the team had. He was constantly the opposing team's best scorer and had a +1.4 defensive box plus-minus. Considering the overall team in part affects one's DBPM, it's amazing that he had as high of a grade as he did; as the Jazz were dead last in defense for the 2023-2024 season.
So clearly the Jazz couldn't limit the impact Dunn had, no matter how they tried. Overall he had a box plus minus of -0.1 and a value over replacement (VORP) of 0.6. These figures paint the picture of a good player, who the Jazz should fight to retain.
