The Utah Jazz may very well make a trade at any point this season.

The Utah Jazz are not sitting on their hands this offseason. They’re actively pursuing potential trades for various players, none of which are being named at the moment. That hasn’t stopped leaks and rumors coming out about the Jazz’s desire to make a big move.

A move that may not even come during the offseason, but at any point before the trade deadline in February. It appears as though the Jazz are not going to limit themselves to only making moves at the more conventional times of the season.

At least that’s what Utah Jazz insider, Andy Larsen of the Salt Lake Tribune (via Sports Illustrated),  is suggesting in a recent article, saying;

"I suspect that, despite the full roster, the Jazz are going to continue to be active in trade conversations for the rest of the year — heck, all the way through the trade deadline in 2024… just because the Jazz’s roster is full doesn’t mean the Jazz’s front office is done. Work remains to become a true championship contender, and the franchise will push toward that goal."

The Jazz keeping eyes out for potential trades is a smart decision, but it all comes down to who they’re looking for, and what they’re willing to give up. We’ve mentioned before a trade idea that had the Toronto Raptors OG Anunoby heading to the Jazz for three first-round picks.

That would be absurd, especially considering what Bradley Beal and Kevin Durant both respectively went for in their trades with the Phoenix Suns. Anunoby isn’t near Durant, and while he’s closer to Beal, Beal is still clearly the better scorer. So why would Anunoby get three-first rounders?

If the Jazz were to make a move like that, it would not be well received. But if they could get someone like Anunoby for a pick or a rookie, then maybe you make that move.
