One could accuse the Utah Jazz of being inconsistent this season. They’ve certainly had their hot streaks and their cold ones. However, it’s been a tale of two seasons for the Boston Celtics.

The Celtics (45-28) are 11-2 since the All-Star break. Their Defensive Rating of 105.8 is the best in the Association.

Meanwhile, the Jazz (45-27) boast the league’s best attack, with an Offensive Rating of 116.2. It’ll be a clash of styles tonight. Overcoming the league’s best offense would certainly be a feather in the Jazz’s cap.

Utah Jazz Starting Lineup Tonight

Bojan Bogdanovic remains sidelined for the Jazz, but every other starter is expected to be available. Look for Quin Snyder to go with a starting lineup of Mike Conley, Donovan Mitchell, Royce O’Neale, Rudy Gay and Rudy Gobert in this contest.

Utah Jazz Injury Report

Besides Bogdanovic, Udoka Azubuike is still dealing with an ankle injury that will keep him out of this matchup. Meanwhile, forward Danuel House Jr. will also be unavailable with a knee injury.

Utah Jazz vs Boston Celtics Prediction

In a battle of offense vs defense, the smart money is usually on the former. This matchup may be an exception to that rule.

After all, Boston’s 11th ranked 112.2 Offensive Rating is depressed by their early season struggles. They’ve been on a torrid pace lately, with an Offensive Rating of 122.4 since the All-Star break.

Obviously that’s not sustainable. It would make them, by far, the best team in NBA history. Still, they’ve been a better team than the Jazz over the course of a meaningful sample size.

This should be a fun matchup. It’s something of a dark horse potential Finals preview. We’re betting on the boys from Beantown to extend their hot streak.

Prediction: Celtics 115, Jazz 108
