The Utah Jazz may be one of the best teams in the NBA at 23-9, but the San Antonio Spurs won’t roll over for anybody. While the formerly dynastic club is a mediocre 14-18, they’ve been on a tear lately. They’ve won their last three games, and they’ve averaged 133.6 points per contest in the process of doing so. The Jazz are not the Kings, Pistons or Clippers. They’ll give the Spurs a harder time than they’ve had over this recent mini win streak. Regardless, San Antonio is no joke.

Utah Jazz vs San Antonio Spurs Odds Tonight

According to WynnBet, the Jazz are 7 point favorites to take home a victory tonight, and a -300 point favorite on the money line. The Spurs are a +240 money line underdog.

The over/under is presently at 228.5.

Utah Jazz Starting Lineup

With Donovan Mitchell sidelined with a lower back strain, look for Joe Ingles to take his place in the starting lineup. He’ll be surrounded by the usual cast in Mike Conley, Royce O’Neale, Bojan Bogdanovic and Rudy Gobert.

Utah Jazz Injury Report

Besides the devastating loss of Mitchell, the Jazz will be without Udoka Azubuike (right ankle sprain) and Malik Fitts (right shoulder sprain).

Utah Jazz vs San Antonio Spurs Prediction

There was a temptation to predict a Spurs upset for this contest. They’ve been hot lately, and with Donovan Mitchell on the shelf, these Utah Jazz will not be the force that their fanbase has come to expect.

Unfortunately for the Spurs, Dejounte Murray has entered the NBA’s health and safety protocols. He’s been comfortably the Spurs’ best player this season. Losing him likely mitigates any advantage the Spurs had in Mitchell’s absence.

With that logic, the safe money remains on the better team to prevail. The Jazz enjoy the luxury of having Joe Ingles in their second unit. He can fill in for any Jazz starter not named Rudy Gobert, and allow Quin Snyder to deploy five starting caliber players.

This one might be competitive, but the Jazz should be heavily favored heading into it.

Prediction: Jazz 115, Spurs 108
