The Utah Jazz have 28 games remaining for the 2019-20 season. 16 of them at home, and 12 on the road. How will they finish during this key stretch?

The excitement of the All-Star break is over, and things will soon get back to normal for the Utah Jazz as they look to finish the 2019-20 season strong. The main focus is going to be securing the highest seed possible and having home court advantage going into the playoffs.

It won’t be smooth sailing for the Jazz, as they are one of four Western Conference playoff teams (Grizzlies, Nuggets, Thunder) that rank in the top fifteen in remaining strength of schedule. They’re going to have to bring it each and every night.

The Jazz have 16 home games remaining, and nine of those games come against non-playoff teams. These are games that the Jazz simply have to win. Protect home court. No excuses. Take care of business.

Utah only has 12 road games remaining, but exactly half of those will be played against playoff teams. Those are going to be huge in determining the Jazz’s final record. They won’t win all of those games, of course, but they’ll have to steal a bunch of them.

I know, the best thing that the players, coaches, and us fans can do is to simply take this one game at a time.

Looking ahead and getting stressed out isn’t going to solve anything. This Utah Jazz team has proven to be one of the best teams in the league and we should feel pretty positive with what they have accomplished up until this point.

They currently sit with a record of 36-18, good for fourth in the Western Conference. The 36 wins is the highest number of victories the team has had going into an All-Star break. That’s pretty darn good, if you ask me.

I can’t help myself, though. So, I’ve decided to take a look at each game remaining on the Utah Jazz schedule and come up with a final prediction on what the teams record will be after these 28 games.

Before we get started, let’s keep in mind that injuries, load management and other things are going to come in play. It’s impossible to tell if guys like Kawhi Leonard and Nikola Jokic are going to play in games that take place in the middle of April.

Their respective teams could be sitting pretty at that point in time. Who knows? Regardless, I did my best to determine a realistic record for these final 28 games. Let’s begin and take a look at the home games that await the Utah Jazz.
