After surging through the Western Conference, it’s time to hop over to the other side of the country as our series about the most intriguing individual matchups that will exist for Utah Jazz players this season continues. Though basketball is a team sport, it’s oftentimes the one-on-one battles that make a game the most exhilarating to witness.

So now we’ll begin an identical exercise but with the Eastern Conference’s Central Division. Though the Eastern Conference has developed a deserved reputation as the weaker of the two, there are still some daunting teams and incredible individual players that will be certain to test the Jazz and any opponent on any given night.
And the Central Division is undoubtedly one of the tougher ones in the East as it boasts the top seed from a year ago in the Milwaukee Bucks as well as two playoff teams in the Indiana Pacers and Detroit Pistons to go to along with a pair of young squads that figure to be better in 2019-20 in the Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers.
