Charlotte Hornets

  • ’17-18 Record: 36-46
  • ’17-18 Season Series: 1-1
  • ’18-19 Advantage: Jazz

The Jazz and Charlotte Hornets have split their season series 1-1 for four consecutive years. Hopefully that streak will end in 2018-19, as the Jazz are a much better basketball team.

Charlotte is in a weird spot right now. One minute it feels like they are rebuilding, and the next minute it feels like they are competing to win now. All I know is that I am not high on the Hornets roster at all, and think they’re headed to the Draft Lottery next year.

Utah has struggled in Charlotte in the past, and they have also struggled guarding Kemba Walker, who lit them up for a career-high 52 points back in 2016. If they can game plan better and figure out a way to make things tougher for him, that’d make winning a lot easier.

Again, you don’t want to underestimate any team, but I feel confident in saying the Jazz shouldn’t struggle against the Hornets this upcoming season.
