Brooklyn Nets

  • ’17-18 Record: 28-54
  • ’17-18 Season Series: 1-1
  • ’18-19 Advantage: Jazz

The Brooklyn Nets have been laughed at over the years, but that laughter should have ended a while ago. Sean Marks has put together a squad in Brooklyn that will compete every night, regardless of what their win-loss record is.

While Utah is clearly a better team right now, don’t sleep on the Nets. They have terrific guards in Spencer Dinwiddie and D’Angelo Russell, a young coach in Kenny Atkinson and the right attitude. They are a confident bunch and just continue to improve each year.

Brooklyn can really score the ball, and that offense will keep them in games. They aren’t a very sharp defensive team, which hurts them. Utah is, in my opinion, the best two-way team in the league. They play both ends of the floor beautifully, and that’s what gives them an advantage over most teams.
