Miami Heat

  • ’17-18 Record: 44-38
  • ’17-18 Season Series: 2-0 (Heat)
  • ’18-19 Advantage: Jazz

In a way, the Miami Heat remind me of the Jazz. They are both rugged defensive teams that work extremely hard. The Heat took the season series last year, but it wasn’t easy. Both games were close and very physical.

Rudy Gobert was injured in the first match-up after Dion Waiters went crashing into his knee diving for a loose ball, and Donovan Mitchell missed the game-winning bucket in the second match-up.

Despite the sweep, I give the Jazz the advantage. Miami is a rock-solid team, but the Jazz look like a top team in the NBA overall.
