Memphis Grizzlies

  • ’17-18 record: 22-60
  • ’17-18 Season Series: 3-0 (Jazz)
  • ’18-19 Advantage: Jazz

The Memphis Grizzlies bombed out during the 2017-18 season, but they have had a monster off-season and have a chance to be back in the playoff hunt this upcoming season.

Just like the Jazz, the Grizzlies are one of those teams you just don’t like to play against. They established a ‘Grint N Grind’ culture with guys like Tony Allen and Zach Randolph, and they want to get back to that style of play after last year’s 22-win season.

Marc Gasol is great, and the young talent in Memphis is on the rise, but the Jazz have star power that the Grizzlies don’t. Both teams have battled over the years, and I expect that to continue in the future.
