Los Angeles Lakers

  • ’17-18 Record: 35-47
  • ’17-18 Season Series: 3-0 (Jazz)
  • ’18-19 Advantage: Jazz

Get ready to see LeBron James four times in the regular season, Jazz fans. LeBron is scary, but the rest of the Los Angeles Lakers roster leaves a lot to be desired. With that being said, I don’t think the Lakers will be a great team this season.

They’ll be a good team. They will probably make the playoffs, but I don’t see them securing a top-five seed. It’s going to be interesting to see how the young talent in Los Angeles adapts to playing with a superstar like LeBron.

All of those kids have to step up. Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma and Josh Hart are all good young players. Let’s see if they can translate that talent into wins.

Right now, I think the Jazz are the better team, and by a pretty large margin. Could the Lakers take a game during the season against Utah? Of course. When you have a guy like LeBron James, you’ll always be in winning contention, but the Jazz are the better team.
