Utah Jazz point guard Ricky Rubio has been flexing his fashion muscles for H&M, but his teammates are having none of it.
For the 2018 edition of the Kyrylo Fesenko Awards For Radness in Jazzdom, I singled out Raul Neto as the “dreamiest” member of the Utah Jazz. However, passing over starting point-man Ricky Rubio for the honor (if one can call it that) was akin to choosing John Stockton over Karl Malone. Or vice versa.
In any case, Rubio’s Spanish magnetism is aided in no small part by his sense of style. And now, you too can be Rubio chic.
Jazz fans can get their hands on some of Rubio’s summer fashion picks at H&M. All of the clothing items are reasonably priced, too, so you can dress like the master of the man bun without breaking the bank.
The Jazz floor general took to Twitter and Instagram on Friday to model his threads for summer. Brace yourselves for twill shorts and resort shirts —
For me, one word comes to mind here…and that word is fab. Of course, my wardrobe consists almost entirely of basketball shorts and shirts adorned with obscure video game and movie references, Saved By The Bell characters and new wave bands from the 1980s. So my fashion bar is pretty low.
Nevertheless, Tricky Ricky’s duds are sure to catch the eye of any would-be man-about-town.
I may just trade in my Zubaz pants and Kelly Kapowski tee for the linen suit they’re shilling.
However, I wouldn’t hold my breath on any of his Jazz teammates doing the same. Unsurprisingly, Joe Ingles, Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell all made a point to nail Rubio for his modeling efforts in the comments of his IG post —
Ouch.
Now, is it just me or is it hard to take the Stifle Tower’s comment seriously when he’s been snapped in things like this —

Not terrible, Rudy, not terrible. But if you’re going to knock Rubio’s skinny shorts and button-down look, we’ll need to have a chat about the leopard print.
