Donovan ribs Joe Ingles

I know this one’s minor and related to the previously discussed Dunk Contest Championship, but I feel it still deserves a slide of its own. It’s no secret that Mitchell’s Jazz teammates Rudy Gobert and especially Joe Ingles have had a lot of fun taking shots at the Jazz rookie on social media and in interviews. That didn’t change on All-Star Weekend as they took to Twitter to have some fun at his expense once again:

These are just the tip of the iceberg of funny things that Ingles and Gobert have said to Donovan this season. But Mitchell was able to sneak in a fun jab back at Ingles that was only too fitting after winning the Dunk Contest. Check it out below:

I’m sure everyone’s favorite Aussie will have some words with Donovan for this one.

This is too great, though. Seeing the chemistry and dynamic on this team even during the All-Star break when they’re not on the court together is just incredible.

Ultimately, Rudy Gobert and a few of his other teammates expressed their congratulations to Donovan on social media after the event:

Joe Ingles was silent on that front (maybe he went to bed before the Dunk Contest was over) so we’ll assume he’s waiting to give his congratulations to Donovan in person.
