I’m as optimistic as the next Jazz fan, but the Jazz are not about to finish this season on a 35-0 run. The streak will have to come to an end eventually, and on the road against a solid Blazers team, it feels like this might be the one.
Part of me feels like I could be completely wrong about this. I could just as easily see the Jazz blowing out the Blazers. With Rubio out though, it seems like the Jazz may just be too thin at guard to keep Lillard and McCollum in check.
It’s gonna be a battle. If the Jazz can succeed at all three of the key points I’ve gone over, they are going to have an excellent chance of proving me wrong and winning their ninth in a row.
