My Ranking

Like I stated above, I honestly feel like Utah is a top-20 club.

As for the question I posed earlier on whether the Jazz are the best of the worst or the worst of the best, my hopeful answer is neither.

If I had to rank the Jazz RIGHT NOW, I would have them as the league’s 20th or 21st best team and 10th in the West.

However, if you combine a healthy Rudy Gobert and an ever-improving Donovan Mitchell with a fairly new Utah roster that is still figuring some things out, you should have a bona fide Western Conference playoff contender by season’s end.

Hot take or not, it would not surprise me one bit to see Utah make a late-season push for the eight or even seventh seed in the West.

Similar to that of last season’s Miami Heat, the resurgence MUST start soon. And the Jazz have two winnable games this week against the Washington Wizards and Charlotte Hornets.

Where would you rank the Jazz in the league and in the West? Let me know in the comments below.

Lastly, here is another shameless plug to get Donovan Mitchell into the All-Star game.
