B+. . G/F. Utah Jazz. THABO SEFOLOSHA

Overall GPA: 3.10 (B)

Add Thabo Sefolosha to the list of offseason additions that have exceeded my expectations.

Prior to coming to Utah, Sefolosha had a built a career off of playing lockdown defense. As advertised, Sefolosha has proven worthy of his defensive reputation. The real surprise has come from his effectiveness on the offensive end.

Sefolosha has improved his field goal percentage from 47 percent in November to an impressive 58 percent so far in December.

While his scoring numbers are not eye-popping, Sefolosha’s ability to cut to the rim to get easy looks combined with his ability to knock down the corner three has made him a solid offensive option.

He also rarely makes the wrong decision with the ball. He is averaging less than one turnover per game and has not posted back to back games with a giveaway since mid-November.
