C+. . SF. Utah Jazz. ROYCE O'NEALE

Overall GPA: 2.20 (C)

Whether warranted or not, Royce O’Neale’s hype has continued to build over the course of the season. Quin Snyder and his staff must agree to some extent as O’Neale’s minutes have increased each month of the season.

Last time around, I knocked O’Neale for not being able to carve out an even bigger role despite all of Utah’s injury struggles. This time around I am refraining from bumping him up too much due to his inconsistency.

This is not at all a knock on O’Neale’s game. He has posted all three of his double-digit scoring nights over this ten-game stretch including a 12-point game where he went 4-of-5 from three against the Cavs.

If he can continue to show consistency from deep along with his trademark hustle, he will see his grade start to skyrocket over the second half of the season.
