Prediction – Jazz 101, Wizards 92

Although I expect this to be a much tougher contest than the last time these two squads faced off, I’m expecting a similar result. John Wall and Bradley Beal are a dynamic duo, but the combo of George Hill and Rodney Hood should be able to help counter balance them. And beyond that pair, the Jazz are very well equipped to match-up with the Wizards at every other position.

Utah’s bench is also very much superior to that of the Wizards, especially if they play like they did in Sacramento last night. Even with guys missing, when Utah has had eight or nine players play well, they’ve been an extremely difficult team to beat.

And I suspect that will very much be the case tomorrow night. Washington is no doubt a good team but combining Utah’s previous performance against them with the fact that they’ll likely be fatigued on the tail end of their road trip, I feel confident pinning the Jazz as 11-point winners.

More from The J-Notes

A win tomorrow night would make it three straight for the Utah Jazz and given how tough their remaining six games will be following the bout against the Wizards, it will be vital that Utah come away with a victory to help them maintain their spot in fourth place in the West.

These kinds of games against tough foes are a great preparation for the playoffs, so as Utah looks to make a run to finish the season and excel in postseason play, their performance tomorrow night will be a great indication of what can be expected of this Jazz team moving forward.
