Prediction – Jazz 110, Nets 93

Although it’s been a rough week so far for the Jazz, I think I’ve made it abundantly clear that this is a less than formidable Brooklyn team that Utah should be able to make light work of, especially on their home court.

Yes, it’s a league of professionals and of course any team or player can get hot on any given night, but with a day of rest between games and plenty at stake to play for, I expect Utah to be ready to go and bounce back with a convincing win over the Nets. Thus, just as I stated in my preview piece from earlier in the week, I’m notching Utah to come away with a strong 110-93 victory.

More from The J-Notes

After tomorrow’s contest, the Jazz will play two more likely lottery teams in the Sacramento Kings and New Orleans Pelicans before the real challenge begins where Utah will face seven straight playoff teams, with six of those contests coming on the road.

With that daunting stretch ahead, it’s imperative that Utah take care of business and simply get a confidence and morale-raising win against a hapless Nets team tomorrow. Given how well Utah has played this season aside from a few minor blips, such as their loss last night, I fully expect them to do just that.
