And here we are today. With second-year coach Quin Snyder receiving a long-term extension and the front office rebranding the logo, jerseys and court, this summer has become a new era of Utah Jazz basketball.

The steady improvement the team has shown each season has Jazz fans everywhere expecting a playoff berth next season. Despite being young in age, Hayward and Favors aren’t young players anymore. They are officially veterans who are entering the primes of their careers.

So what does the future look like in this new era? The average player age last year was 24.4 years old. With a team so close to playoff basketball while being this young, you can expect multiple playoff appearances and some deep playoff runs in the near future.

And who knows, maybe this is the era where the Utah Jazz finally find themselves hoisting the Larry O’Brien trophy at the end of the season.
