Jazz Starting Lineup at Season’s End
Tyson Newman: New PG (George Hill?), Burks, Hayward, Favors and Gobert.
Karthik Narayanan: Trey Burke, Rodney Hood, Gordon Hayward, Derrick Favors and Rudy Gobert
Greg Foster: Raul Neto, Rodney Hood, Gordon Hayward, Derrick Favors and Rudy Gobert
Richard Lu: Trey Burke, Rodney Hood, Gordon Hayward, Derrick Favors, Rudy Gobert
Ryan Aston: Trey Burke, Alec Burks, Gordon Hayward, Derrick Favors and Rudy Gobert. I can see either Hood or Burks (or both) starting, with whoever doesn’t get the nod coming off the bench and impacting games in Jamal Crawford/Manu Ginobili-like fashion. For now, I’ll go with Alec.
Blake Draper: Burke, Hood, Hayward, Favors and Gobert. Burks will end up in a sixth man role to lead the Jazz bench unit, giving a spot in the starting lineup to Hood. At the point guard position, Burke holds the edge over Neto. Hayward, Favors and Gobert are obvious starters.
