The Stifle Tower Returns
Finally, Jazz starting center and alleged 11th best defensive player in the Association Rudy Gobert is back in the 801. In looking at his tweet announcing the return to Salt Lake City, it looks like the fearsome Frenchman is ready to do whatever it takes to get the recognition he deserves–
Gobert’s #NoTeamAllDefense status continues to astound me. Apparently triggering one of the greatest defensive turnarounds in recent history is ho-hum to NBA experts. Needless to say, it’s a safe bet that the Stifle Tower will ensure that the powers that be in the basketball world don’t make the same mistake twice.
The only question now (Mr. Tomic!) is just who will provide the back-up minutes.
