Utah Jazz: Top 5 Ante Tomic Replacements
By Ryan Aston
Apr 6, 2015; Indianapolis, IN, USA; Wisconsin Badgers forward Frank Kaminsky (44) reacts after a basket against the Duke Blue Devils in the second half in the 2015 NCAA Men
1. Frank Kaminsky, Wisconsin
With D-Faves (and now Gobert) doing his work down low, the Jazz have long sought a sharpshooting big to stretch the floor and create space in the paint for other players.
College Player of the Year Frank Kaminsky could be just what the doctor ordered to address this need.
In 39 games with the Wisconsin Badgers last season, Kaminsky averaged nearly 19 points per contest on an incredible 54.7-percent from the field and nearly 42-percent from three-point range.
His statistical output was such that he led the entire NCAA in player efficiency rating with 34.4; his career rating of 29.0 places him 12th among all college basketball players since 1997-98.
In DraftExpress’ latest mock, Kaminsky is slated to be picked tenth overall. The mock at NBADraft.net has Kaminsky going at No. 16 to the Boston Celtics.
