Continuing Purple & Blues’ early preview of potential free agent targets for the Utah Jazz this offseason, we shift our focus from available big men to the wing positions, beginning with small forwards.

Given the rise of Derrick Favors and Rudy Gobert in the frontcourt, as well as the imminent arrival of fabled European star Ante Tomic, the wing spot could be where Jazz GM Dennis Lindsey elects to spend the brunt of the team’s cash this summer.

Many have considered a veteran wing presence a much-needed commodity for Utah this year. Despite the return of Alec Burks next season, the emergence of Rodney Hood and the steady play of Gordon Hayward, added firepower at the three spot could bolster team depth.

In examining the pool of free agents this summer, here are my top five potential targets at the small forward position for Lindsey and the Jazz.
