On This Day in Jazz History
It was 28 years ago today that Jazz legend and Hall of Famer “Pistol” Pete Maravich dropped a career-high 68 points in a game against the New York Knicks.
The New Orleans Jazz won the game 124-107 despite 28 points from the Knicks’ Bob McAdoo. Unquestionably one of the greatest offensive performances in team and league history by Pistol Pete.
