Purple&Blues Q&A : Jazz Stats Predictions

1. Who will lead the Jazz in scoring this season?

Haslam – Toss up between Hayward and Kanter and this year I think it will be Hayward solely cause he’ll have the ball in his hands more.

R. McDermott – Gordon Hayward. I believe the offense is going to run a lot through him and he’ll have the ball in his hands more than anyone thus having more opportunities to score.

L. McDermott – I think it will be Gordon Hayward. He’s going to help out Trey Burke a lot and therefore have the ball in his hands. I think it is very possible that Gordon averages 18, 5 and 5 this year.

Newman – Hayward will most likely lead this team in scoring but i’m going with Kanter so I can be different.  I think with the extended minutes Kanter is going to have a monster of a season.  He’s working super hard this off-season to stay in shape and I’m even willing to go as far to say he’s in better shape this season then he was last season.  Throwing in the work he’s done with Karl Malone and we might have an all-star on our hands.

Anderson – Enes Kanter. He’s the most apt to have the opportunity and can combine that with an arsenal of post moves and a sweet shot.

Powers – I’m going with Enes Kanter. He showed a lot of his offensive post moves he had been working on last year and after working with Karl Malone, he’s bound to add some more moves to his offense. Plus if the Jazz are missing shots, Kanter is very good at grabbing offensive rebounds and getting put backs. I can see him scoring quite a bit this year for the Jazz.
