5. Who is the best player in the Western Conference?

Haslam – Tony Parker- Most people believe it should be Durant, but to me Durant is a taller Curry which yes is scary, but overall player has to be between CP3 and Parker and I give the nod to Parker.

L. McDermott –

Wow. Kobe Bryant when healthy is one of the best players in the NBA. It just so happens there’s another player in LA the same can be said of. That man is Chris Paul. He’s the engine that makes that Clipper team go. He could be in the MVP talk this season. I think the Clippers have a legit shot of making the finals and they can thank Chris Paul for staying.

R. McDermott – 1. Chris Paul 2. Tony Parker 3. Kevin Durant

Newman – Trey Burke………haha a little Jazz humor.  No it’s Kevin Durant for sure.  The guy keeps getting better every season and I don’t think it’s really debatable at this point that it’s Lebron James then a little bit below him is Kevin Durant and then everyone else.

Anderson – Kevin Durant.

Powers – This one is really a toss up for me. Can’t really say that about the Eastern Conference, but it comes down to Chris Paul and Kevin Durant. Both guys do so much for their teams. Chris Paul, to me, is the best point guard in the NBA. Kevin Durant showed in the playoffs that without Russell Westbrook, he can’t carry that team. I think that on the Clippers, CP3 carries that team and without him, they wouldn’t be half as good.
