Someone in the first round is going to take Gobert, I just don’t know exactly where he goes. Just like Nogueira, Gobert is all over the board in mock drafts.
His size is undeniable. His wingspan and standing reach is ridiculous. The size of Gobert will be extremely difficult to pass up, but he is raw and doesn’t have an offensive game. If you watch tape on him, all he can do is dunk. That won’t get him very far in the league so he needs to develop more.
The Timberwolves are looking to get another big man and Gobert could fit the bill in Minnesota. Not shocked if he falls here and this pick happens.
