23 : Indiana Pacers select Lucas Nogueira, C, Brazil
Well, the system did it to me again. Not finding a picture for Lucas either. Sorry again.
Nogueira has shown up on mock drafts all over the board. I’ve seen him go as high as 12 and I’ve seen him go as low as late 1st round to early 2nd round. Nobody knows where he will go.
I see him dropping to about here. He has some talent. He can run the floor like a deer, but he has to put on some weight. He is undersized and still raw. I think some GM’s will be nervous to pull the trigger on this guy, but Indiana might jump on it. If he can stay in Brazil and put on some weight and develop for another couple years, he could be another quality big man to add to the Pacers already fantastic frontcourt.
