It will be a while before the Jazz-Jaren Jackson Jr. honeymoon phase ends

Fans will be riding on high on JJJ for months simply because they won't see it for months!

Typically whenever a team acquires a big name, there is always a honeymoon phase until the team either has its first bad stretch since acquiring said big name of said big name's flaws start to show themselves. In the Utah Jazz's case, they are still very much in the honeymoon phase with Jaren Jackson Jr and will be for a while because they have yet to see what he will look like with the team fully healthy.

JJJ only played in three games with the Jazz, but it was clear how much he changed the team's landscape on his own. Because of his ailing knee, his season was cut short, but it took only three games for Utah and the fans to be sold on him and be stoked for the era the team had just ushered in, starting this October.

Because of his absence after only a few games, all of the excitement about his addition will remain that way until they see the Jazz's full vision on the floor. The fact that both he and the team looked as good as they did from the jump will only fuel more giddiness with each passing month.

The honeymoon phrase may only get better from here

This everlasting honeymoon phase with JJJ goes well beyond him. Utah will add more to the team next season, making what's to come even more exciting to think about. On top of him getting a clean bill of health, we still have yet to see what he will look like next to Walker Kessler and a high lottery pick on top of what we've already seen.

There may not have been a player in the entire NBA whose skillset filled Utah's holes as seamlessly as JJJ's did. To think that they got the guy who filled all of their holes and are about to add to it should and will be on the collective fanbase's mind.

Despite how badly everything is going with their current season, the Jazz fanbase does not care because JJJ and everything else falling into place this offseason overshadows their current struggles that they know are about to end.

Perhaps what's most exciting of all is that there's no telling what this team's true ceiling is. They will be big, they will be tough to stop, and they will be tough to score on. Mixing in the ingredients of their win-now players and their developing young talent should make for one fantastic season.

So not only will the honeymoon phase be alive and well, but there's no telling when it will be over.
