#27 Tristan Da Silva - SF (Colorado)

Depending on the mock you have, Tristan Da Silva is expected to go around 10 picks higher, so the fact that the Utah Jazz gifted him at the 27th pick is a dream come true. Da Silva is a 6'8 small forward who can shoot and rebound while providing a physical edge on defense.

He's not an overly gifted three-point shooter, but he did shoot 38.6% from three in college, and that's a higher rate of success than most Jazz players had in 2023-2024. He's someone who could give you a strong replacement on the court when Lauri Markkanen heads off for a breather. He's not like Reed Sheppard in the sense that Sheppard is going to be expected to play 25-30 minutes upon his debut, but Da Silva should be able to earn minutes as the season goes on.

His size makes him someone the Jazz would be happy to get, as he'll be able to hopefully fill in behind Markkanen or whoever the two-guard is. Having someone like that is always welcomed. Not only that, but his three-and-De presence would hopefully give the Jazz a defensive stopper off the bench.

He's got potential, talent and a shot. He just needs an opportunity.
