The Jazz have made several of their moves, be it draft or free agency, official, but what does it all mean?

The Jazz are maintaining cap flexibility for next season
Both Juzang and Mykhailiuk agreed to long-term contracts with no guarantees past the 2024-25 season. It's pretty easy to understand that the Jazz are making sure that they will have cap flexibility when the 2025 NBA Offseason starts.
The cap is expected to rise next year, and no one knows where exactly the Jazz will be in a year from now. For all we know, they may have gotten even closer to returning to the NBA playoffs, or they may have had their worst season as a team.
Having cap flexibility keeps their options open down the line. Mykhailiuk and Juzang could be long-term fixtures in Utah, but whether they are or not, they won't take too much of the cap room for years to come.
