3 takeaways from the Jazz officially signing draftees & free agents
The Jazz have made several of their moves, be it draft or free agency, official, but what does it all mean?

Trading Lauri Markkanen was never in the Jazz's plans
Everyone already knew this when Markkanen's extension was announced. However, this factor contributed to why it took so long for the Jazz to sign these players, even though ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported well over a month ago that Eubanks planned to join Utah.
Teams also usually sign their picks not too long after they draft them. Markkanen was the big hold up only because of his extension, and that's in no way says anything bad about him.
Just, once the Jazz got that done, they had a clearer picture of where they wanted to go, and that meant signing most of their new players. It also means Markkanen's extension was the biggest domino from the very start.
