Riser: Cody Williams

Cody Williams had a shaky start in Salt Lake but had a much better showing in Las Vegas. He averaged 15 points, 3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists on 54.8% shooting. While not the most eye-popping stat line, he did show flashes of being the player the Jazz spent a top 10 pick on hoping he would be.

One stat that is intriguing for Williams is from the 76ers game in Salt Lake: he recorded only 2 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists on 0 for 8 shooting. Not great, but his plus/minus was 2nd highest on the team at plus 13. Williams doesn't have to score to be effective in the league, he can effect the game on both ends of the floor, and his defense doesn't have to suffer when his offense does.
