3 Risers and 2 Fallers From the Utah Jazz's Summer League
Summer League is over for the Utah Jazz, who proved they were ready for the next step, and who showed they still have work to do?
Faller: Taylor Hendricks
Taylor Hendricks had an ok showing highlighted by a 23-point, 9-rebound game on 9/10 shooting against the Raptors, but averaged only 10.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in Las Vegas. That stat line is solid, but in context is disappointing.
Hendricks was a top-10 pick in last year's draft, and while he's only 20 years old, you would expect him to take a step forward after a year in the league and playing against summer league competition. If he was fighting for a roster spot, it was a good performance, but for a player of his caliber, you would hope to see more.
