Jazz vs. Cavaliers best NBA prop bets today (Lauri Markkanen revenge game?)

The two teams that are forever linked for the Donovan Mitchell trade will face off on Wednesday night in Cleveland.
The Utah Jazz are eyeing a second straight win, but my favorite plays in this game come in the prop market.
In fact, they happen to be on the two main pieces of the Mitchell deal, and they should favor the Jazz if they come to fruition.

Let’s break down each of the picks for Wednesday:
Best NBA prop bets today for Jazz vs. Cavaliers
- Lauri Markkanen OVER 30.5 points, rebounds and assists
- Donovan Mitchell UNDER 6.5 assists
Lauri Markkanen OVER 30.5 points, rebounds and assists
Lauri Markkanen is averaging 23.2 points, 8.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game this season, which is well clear of this prop entering a revenge matchup against Cleveland.
While Markkanen has not picked up many assists this season, he did have four in his last game and three in the one before that. I think that could be the X-Factor for him going over this prop against a Cleveland team that is much weaker on the glass with Evan Mobley (knee) out.
I’ll take a shot on Markkanen here, as he has a solid floor, scoring 18 or more points in 17 of his 18 games this season.
Donovan Mitchell UNDER 6.5 assists
With Darius Garland out of the lineup due to a fractured jaw, Mitchell has assumed a major role playmaking for the Cavs.
However, this total may be a little too high for the All-NBA guard.
Mitchell had 13 dimes against the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday night, but that’s the only time he’s cleared this number in his last 16 games!
On the season, Mitchell is averaging 5.5 assists per game, with just three games where he’s cleared 6.5 dimes. Utah is 27th in the league in opponent assists per game, but this number may be a little too high for the Cavs star.
