The Utah Jazz have once again surprised a large segment of NBA fans this season. Predicted before the season to be one of the worst teams in the Western Conference for the second season in a row, the Jazz have defied the odds again and currently sit in the play-in range, just a few games out of the playoffs.

They are neck-and-neck with the Lakers and Warriors in the standings. In order to continue climbing up in the West, Utah will likely continue searching for deals as the trade deadline nears in just a few short hours, and they have already been connected to several players. Here, we will order those players from most desirable to have on the roster (no-brainer) to least desirable (must-avoid).

Tari Eason - Absolute no-brainer

One young player who could potentially be available leading up to the deadline is the Houston Rockets' Tari Eason. The second-year wing has shown excellent three-and-D potential, and his name has been linked with the Jazz in recent weeks.

Adding a defender the likes of Eason would do wonders for this squad going forward. Tari may not be far and away the best player on this list, but his skill and upside combined with the fact that he would probably be available for a lower asking price than some others on this list earns him the title of an absolute no-brainer target for Utah.
