Grade the trade pitch: Jazz send Lauri Markkanen to rising West contender
Bleacher Report's Grant Hughes proposed a trade that would make the Jazz embrace a rebuild by trading Markkanen. But is it a good return for them?

The quality of the trade that Hughes outlines really depends on what picks the Thunder fork over for Markkanen. While the Jazz have remained adamant that the price will remain steep for him, the Thunder are one of the few teams that can offer plenty of assets.
At the same time, they also dictate what kind of assets they give back for him. If the Jazz take back one of those Clippers assets, knowing the uncertainty surrounding them, that's a home run. If this trade goes the way a typical Danny Ainge trade goes, they'd have to feel pretty good about their chances of the Thunder giving that up.
