4 players the Jazz could acquire with the $7.98 million room exception

The Jazz still have the room exception that they could use to acquire an expendable player, but who could they look into?

3. Jevon Carter - Chicago Bulls - $6,500,00

Carter's contract technically has one more year past the 2024-25 season, though it is a player option, but he would present a rather rare opportunity for the Jazz.

As a perfectly solid backup point guard, Utah could acquire him from the Bulls - who are positioning themselves for a rebuild, warts and all - in the hopws of then re-packaging him to a contender who wants that level of production for someone as cheaply paid as him.

Carter could also provide the same veteran presence that Patty Mills and Svi Mykhailiuk are expected to give the Jazz. Given how much work he's had to put in for his NBA career, he could help the Jazz's youth with their development.
