4 players the Jazz could acquire with the $7.98 million room exception

The Jazz still have the room exception that they could use to acquire an expendable player, but who could they look into?

2. Jaden Springer - Boston Celtics - $4,018,363

The Celtics have thrown massive extensions left and right over the last two offseasons that they are well above the tax apron. So much so that, would it surprise anyone if they traded Springer just to save some money on the luxury tax bill?

If so, Springer is an excellent buy-low candidate given his youth. He is as offensively raw as any young point guard could be in the NBA, but his defense is already elite. The Jazz will mix and match their young prospects this offseason, and Springer could very well be their next successful development project.

The Jazz have added plenty of promising offensive personnel but don't have much on the defensive side. Springer would definitely help in that department.
