5 Jazz players who could be on their A-Game for the NBA Cup
The team that wins the NBA Cup wins $500,000. While that doesn't sound like much, five particular Jazz players could stand to make such a big amount.
By Matt John
Brice Sensabaugh
Without sounding like a broken record, Sensabaugh will have extra motivation because the Jazz will have a team option for the 2025-26 season. A late first-rounder from 2023 who will make a little over $2.5 million, Sensabaugh may, too, feel the urge to show the Jazz what he's truly made out of with that kind of money on the line.
Adding the extra pressure will be the amount of first-round picks that the Jazz will have in 2025. The Jazz could simply get rid of Sensabaugh to make room for a high first-round pick who may have more potential. He will already come into the 2024-25 season with a lot to prove and the NBA Cup will be the biggest stage for him to prove he's worth developing.
