5 Jazz players who could be on their A-Game for the NBA Cup

The team that wins the NBA Cup wins $500,000. While that doesn't sound like much, five particular Jazz players could stand to make such a big amount.

The Emirates NBA Cup schedule finally arrived on August 13, meaning that we now know who will play who at what time. The Utah Jazz will have four games lined up and will certainly have their work cut out for them.

They'll be going up against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Phoenix Suns, Los Angeles Lakers, and San Antonio Spurs. It's fair to say that they will have to go through a buzzsaw if they want to win the NBA Cup.

While it sounds outlandish that the Jazz would have any chance of winning the NBA Cup, keep in mind that winning the NBA Cup comes with winning $500,000. That may sounds like much to guys like Lauri Markkanen (who will make $40+ million this season) or John Collins (who will make $26+ million this season), but for other Jazz men, $500k is more than enough motivation.

While it depends on their current contract situation, there are multiple players on the Jazz who could be playing like their lives depended on it when the NBA Cup rolls around
