The NBA regular season has concluded, and with it, the Utah Jazz are now sidelined until the draft lottery in May, and following that the actual NBA Draft near the end of June.
It's one of the tougher times to be a fan when the team you love is outside the playoffs and watching others competing still. For Jazz fans, it's a rare occurrence as they have made the playoffs most years and rarely miss them.
However, many former Jazzmen are competing in the postseason, and are playing significant roles for their respective teams. Some of these are recent departures, others left or were moved years ago, but are still around in the NBA. And some even have a shot at getting that elusive NBA Championship ring that all players seek before their careers are done.
Putting aside players like Russell Westbrook (Clippers), Isaiah Thomas (Suns), and Taurean Prince (Lakers) who were never actually on the active roster here, there are still quite a few former Jazz players on playoff or play-in teams this year.
In all, there are 10 teams of the 20 in the postseason that have former Jazzmen on their rosters and a number of teams with multiple guys that once roamed the court in Salt Lake City.
As the play-in has concluded, we will focus solely on those who advanced to the playoffs and are playing in the first round for their teams. One omission is Jarred Vanderbilt, who is with the Lakers but is out with an injury.
We'll kick things off with the one-offs, the playoff teams with just one former Jazz player on their roster.
