The Utah Jazz have a tough matchup at home against the Dallas Mavericks on Monday night, and Dallas could get Kyrie Irving (questionable) back in action for this game.

  • Lauri Markkanen OVER 8.5 rebounds

Collin Sexton OVER 19.5 points

Since entering the starting lineup for Will Hardy’s ball club, Collin Sexton has been on fire.

The former lottery pick is making the most of his chances, averaging 23.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game in 10 starts. 

He’s taking 15.7 shots per game over that stretch, and Sexton has 20 or more points in eight of those 10 games. 

Dallas ranks 22nd in the NBA in defensive rating, so I think Sexton can have a big game on Monday, especially if his usage pushes 17 or more attempts – something he’s done seven 10 in his last 10 starts. 

Lauri Markkanen OVER 8.5 rebounds

Lauri Markkanen is averaging 8.7 rebounds per game this season, yet this is about as favorable of a matchup as he can get. 

Dallas ranks 28th in the NBA in rebounding percentage, and the team plays with more wings than bigs down low. 

It’ll be interesting to see how Dallas matches up with Lauri, but he’s cleared 8.5 boards in five of his last six games, grabbing double-digit rebounds in four of them. 

He’s a terrific bet against one of the NBA’s worst rebounding teams.
