Small Forward - Bruce Brown

A small forward position just opened up and while it's likely that Lauri Markkanen fills it, as Walker Kessler returns to the lineup if that's not the direction the squad goes in, then maybe they can trade for Bruce Brown. Brown, an NBA Champion with the 2022-2023 Denver Nuggets, has seen himself on the move a lot recently, currently on the Toronto Raptors by way of the Indiana Pacers.

While his defense has dipped some, he's scoring a decent clip for a player of his stature, so it's likely that on a better team, with better team defense, Brown can return to his NBA Finals glory, while not missing a beat offensively. He's not great from three but he only takes about two shots per game, so it's not like he's going to hurt you much if he takes a shot and misses it.

He's a solid double-digit scorer from the mid-range and paint, but it's his ability to be versatile that has us excited about his potential in a Jazz uniform. Pair him with Walker Kessler and Kris Dunn and watch what this defense can truly be. If there's a knock on him, it's his price tag, as he makes well over $20 million a year.
